We are specialists in providing in home care Brisbane wide, and our services include both Core Supports and Capacity Building Supports. In-home daily living support is designed to improve the quality of life for NDIS participants in a wide variety of ways, assisting them to live independently as far as possible.
Our aim is to provide disability support and other services that enable people of all ages who need help with daily living activities to remain in their own homes, in shared housing, or living with family members, rather than moving to an aged care home or other sort of facility. In this way, participants can also maintain connections with their local communities and a greater sense of self sufficiency.
Core Supports are designed to assist participants to complete a range of every day living activities, and in so doing help them to work towards achieving their individual development goals.
For instance, this can include: assistance with shopping for food and other essential items; help wth domestic tasks, like cleaning, laundry and gardening; personal care, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, bathing and dressing; transport to school, to work and to take part in community activities; and support to participate in sporting activities, social clubs, learning activities, camps, and more.
In addition, we also assist participants to purchase every day necessities, such as continence and urinary aids, as well as any nutritional products that may be required.
Our in-home daily living support services are designed to help participants to live independently as far as they are able to, while remaining in their own home. The type and level of support we provide is tailored to meet your specific needs and circumstances, and can range from a few hours a week to daily care, as required.
Underlying all of our services is a desire to enhance the quality of life of participants. This is why Memba Care support workers are chosen for their care, compassion and professionalism, and through building relationships with clients, we help to provide continuity of care in an atmosphere of friendliness and familiarity in participants’ own homes.
In addition to in home care, our support workers also provide participants with companionship, helping to reduce feelings of isolation, as well as ensuring that they are able to socialise more widely and continue to participate in the local community. This contributes significantly to clients’ ongoing physical and mental wellbeing, above and beyond the benefits derived directly from in home care services.
